i've started doing macrame in 2016 as a fun little hobby, opened an etsy shop in autumn 2018 and registered my small business in spring 2019. i was selling a lot through my instagram back then, i only had about 70 etsy sales until February 2021! in 2021 i finally developed my very own style of macrame - mostly asymmetrical pieces coming straight out of my imagination! a lot of people recognize me by my style and i'm very proud of it!
then things got wild, i've made over 300 etsy sales and gained over 10k followers on instagram this past year 2021. now, this is my fulltime gig! thanks to all of you amazing people!
i used to work as a florist for almost a decade, worked in retail and had a cleaning job. quit my last and latest "regular" job in November 2021 to pursue my dream of being a full time jewelry maker. didn't want to work a 9 to 5, so now i work 24/7 they say right? right.
i live in my dreamhome in the austrian alps with my cats, working an amazing job i love, happy as can be!
oh and no, i didn't dream of being a jewelry maker as a kid. my dream was to become a flight attendant!
someone said to me "sometimes the dreams that come true are the dreams you never even knew you had". hits like a train at this point!
